# About Zyberdesk — Documentation With a Review Process

Help docs go out of date the day the product changes. Zyberdesk exists to catch that, and to make the fix a review, not a rewrite.

## 01. Why docs rot

A product ships every week. The help center gets updated when someone remembers, and nobody owns the gap between the two. Articles keep describing the old flow, the old plan name, the old limit. Customers find the article, follow it, and it is wrong. The people who own the docs usually find out from a support ticket.

## 02. What we believe about documentation

Documentation is part of the product, so it should have a review process like the rest of it. A change to an article should have a reason, evidence, and a person who approved it. We think software can do the tedious part, which is reading every article against what the product now says and pointing at the ones that drifted. We don't think software should publish over a writer's work unasked, and we don't think a dashboard should claim docs are correct when it can only say what it checked.

## 03. How the product reflects that

Zyberdesk checks each published article against sources you provide: public web pages such as a changelog or pricing page, and release notes you paste in. It reports a verdict per article with the quoted evidence. When an article no longer matches, it drafts a rewrite and shows it as a line diff. A person reviews and applies it. If the article changed while the suggestion was waiting, the suggestion is retired instead of overwriting newer work. The same articles power the hosted help center and the widget's AI answers, so a fix lands everywhere at once.

## 04. Where we're headed

We're a small, focused product team. We add capability when it makes the docs owner's review faster and the result easier to trust. If it would make the docs harder to trust, it doesn't ship.
